Legendary rocker Neil Young is back at it again with a new album that has a bit of a twist. Young’s Earth is a live album that also incorporates the sounds of animals from his backyard. “The animals give off a great vibe. There’s nothing about them that’s – they’re not lying to you and they’re not selling you something,” he told the Mercury News. The songs on the album were chosen because Young thinks that they were the best performances his band gave throughout his tour last year. Young is performing at the upcoming mega-concert Desert Trip in October alongside The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, The Who and Roger Waters.
Earth is due out June 24th
