Fleetwood Mac Members Play ‘Don’t Stop’ with Classroom Instruments

To help promote their new album Buckingham/McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie performed Fleetwood Mac’s classic song ‘Don’t Stop’ on the Tonight Show with classroom instruments.  The classroom instruments in the video included a xylophone, kazoo, ukulele, and a triangle.  McVie and Buckingham were joined by several guests, including Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, and kids from SeriousFun (Paul Newman’s camp for kids with serious illnesses).

Buckingham/McVie was released on June 9, 2017 and has mostly received positive reviews.  Rolling Stone and AllMusic gave it 3.5/5 stars, while The Guardian gave it 4/5 stars.  ‘In My World’ was the first single off of the album and reached #86 on the UK sales chart.  A 14-date North American tour will coincide with the release of the album, running from June 14 to August 8.  The two Fleetwood Mac members will rejoin the band for the Classic East and Classic West Festivals in July.

McVie spoke very highly of Buckingham and the process in general, “For me, this is all a fresh beginning. I didn’t know myself I’d end up coming back into the band after so long: 16 years…I guess I’ve rediscovered my love for writing and my love for music. I seemed to have evolved quite organically because I’ve been sending Lindsey some rough demos; He’s refined them and shaped them into some of our best material ever.”
