Happy Birthday to the queen of rock n roll, Stevie Nicks! The Fleetwood Mac singer celebrates her 69th birthday today while gearing up for her big summer with the band.
Fleetwood Mac is set to perform at the Classic West concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (July 16) and the Classic East concert at Citi Field in New York City (July 30). Other acts scheduled for the Classic East & West Concerts are The Eagles, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, and Journey.
Nicks was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 as a member of Fleetwood Mac and is on Rolling Stone’s list of the ‘100 Greatest Singers of All Time’. She won 2 Grammys with Fleetwood Mac, including the 1978 Album of the Year Award (Rumours) and the 2003 Grammy Hall of Fame Award.
Stevie Nicks is the founder of the Stevie Nicks Soldier’s Angels Foundation, which aims to use music as a rehabilitation method for soldiers who were wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
