Paul Simon’s new album Stranger to Stranger, which will be released on June 3rd, goes outside the box of what you think Paul Simon sounds like.  This album, which is his first new album in 5 years, consists of many different sounds, such as electronic beats, African woodwind instruments, Peruvian drums, a gospel quartet, as well as many different horns and synthesizers.  He told Rolling Stone,  “I don’t set out to make each album different than the last one,” he says. “It’s just my natural inclination.”   Even though that he has no plans beyond his summer tour, Simon does not have any plans of retirement.  Paul Simon’s tour begins May 23rd in Boise, Idaho and runs until June 30th.
