Wrap up your workday and ride home with Joe Siragusa afternoons from 3 to 7pm.
Quick Q&A with Joe:
How long have you been on the radio?
I built a radio studio in my room as a teenager and started broadcasting for “real” while at SUNY Plattsburgh in the late ’80s…so a long time! Since then I’ve worked all around the country and have been in Buffalo since 2001.
What do you like best thing about WNY?
You can’t beat the summer and fall weather. There’s so much great scenery within a short drive…Niagara Falls, the Finger Lakes, lots of great parks…just have to make time to get out and see it!
Favorite sports?
Baseball is number one with me…I’ve been a Yankees fan since I was 10. Love to watch Sabres hockey, and every four years, short-track speed skating at the Winter Olympics!
What’s on your DVR?
Homeland, Top Chef, Justified, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Shameless and The Newsroom are among my current must-see shows.
What do you do for fun?
Love to read, cook, play with our dog Yogi, and genealogy is my latest (obsessive) hobby.
Favorite song lyric…
“When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school, it’s a wonder I can think at all.” -Paul Simon, Kodachrome |
